Ancillary Task - Film Poster (Draft One Evaluation)

One of the main criticisms of this draft was that it "looked like the poster for a local gig" rather than a film poster.
However, this poster was more of a test of fonts rather than the actual official layout of the poster. I was trialling the look of the font against the background when it was combined with the graphic. The graphic was designed to be symbolic of the main prop in the film; the glue is a turning point, and so, I felt that it should take pride of place on the poster. However, I wanted it so that it was not simply a canister of glue, but something more stylised, taking the poster out of the ordinary and giving it more of an artistic look. The fonts that were picked were designed to be as bold as possible, while still retaining an aesthetic appeal to the viewer.
